The vote on the Macquarie University Enterprise Agreement was successful!

285 Staff attended the vote and another 243 lodged absentee votes.

There was overwhelming support for the agreement.

The final count was:

• 517 Votes For
  
• 2 Votes Against
  
• 9 Informal or incomplete votes
  

Thank you for your support of this agreement and for voting in such strong numbers.

The agreement will now be lodged with the Australian Industrial Relations Commission for Certification and we hope the Commission will certify it in January. The University has made the sign-on payments today ahead of certification however, until the new agreement is certified, we are still covered by the current agreement.
