Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and Strategy Information Sessions (ACASIS)
The Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and Strategy Information Session is a two-hour session introducing the Indigenous Employment Strategy to the University community.
The Session covers:
- Rationale of the Indigenous Employment Strategy
- History of Aboriginal employment in New South Wales
- Traditional beliefs and practices of Aboriginal people in New South Wales
- History of disadvantage faced by Indigenous Australians
- Best Practice advice for supervisors and colleagues of Indigenous Australians
Sessions can be held for 10 – 30 staff members.
